What did you do before trucking?

Geez What a good question.a lot of respectable answers too. Wish I could say the same but the whole time all I was doing was job to job trying to save up the money just to Get my licence. A lot it warehouse, swamping and drywall taping. Almost made drywall taping journeyman but the 2008 recession came and got pushed out cause everyone from onterible came. Swamping was fun. Sometimes wish I could have a swamper now. But only sometimes.

CNC Machinist. Money was better machining but hated punching the clock and having someone watch over you all day, wasn't for me.

 

Spent 20 years in a Iron foundry then 4 as a BCAS paramedic. Drove someone else's truck for 8 months then bought my own.
