Flying J in Phoenix

The last Denny's I ate at, one at a J that is, was about 10 miles north of Clearfield Utah on 15. It was about 7PM. I ordered a cheeseburger, and fries. Well after I ordered, I filled out my logs, talked on the phone for about an hour, went out and went to sleep for about 7 hours, showered, did pre trip, then my food arrived, so I took about 10 minutes to eat. But it was delicious.

 

Yea for about 5 minutes I felt like a real American. The only reason I was there at that time though was because one of our lazy drivers didn't smoke, I mean fuel his reefer, were supposed to do it with our first run of the day.

 

It adds 30 to 40 minutes to my day to smoke, I mean fuel someone else's reefer.

 

What color are the plumes? I wonder if they are visible on infrared? What a great recruiting photo for Knight or Swift.

 

0223. July 22nd. No corndogs or pizza. There was coffee & donuts. And of course, exactly 13 NASTY breakfast sandwiches.
Nothing purchased except bag of ice, as I'm now up to speed with these working hours, and everything going on at home, so I now have time to make healthy & delicious food / lunch to take with me.
Observed a couple empty cases of Corona at the fuel island, I guess that's where someone filled their ice chest.
