lyion here.one day some one is going to get in a bad accident because they were forced to to drive there truck when they were out of hours and the state will get sued for millions of dollars .some lawyer is going to have a field day taking the state to court and win the case. do they in force cars the same way if not that's discrimination .

They have had that law for many years. It would come back on the truck driver for not having planned ahead. No doubt it would be nice if it did happen, but it is doubtful. As far as cars, they have the same rules. I have seen them kicked out as well.ssbowles Thanks this. -
Just what I was thinking. Yes, it sucks that they have a limit on parking like that, but it would fall back on the driver for not planning ahead and having a legal and safe place to park.

And to make it worse, there is limited parking available due to the lack of sufficient truckstops around the larger cities. -
I parked in VA many times and never had a trooper tell me I had to move.
