    Early N14's were manual engines meaning they had injector pumps instead of a ecm. The N14e was electronic which means it had a ecm

    About to pick up a FLD120 with N14 Celect plus 460 HP CPL 2025
    402,000 original miles. Been sitting for about 5 years.
    Other than the normal replace items, Belts, Hoses,Filters, Fluids. Any other top of the list items before i try to fire her up?

    I had a N14 select. Red top as they call it. It was 500hp could be turned up to 525. Great motor!! Only thing I ever had to do to it besides routine maintenance was a couple of injectors and a front crank sleeve. I can't tell you which one is the best though

    According to previous replies in this thread several years ago seems a handful of guys were trying to build the CPL2025. I just lucked up on this one if I decide to purchase.
