I got written up by a receiver once for not wearing their vest. MEH. It is probably on my Hirerite now?!

Why would you refuse to wear a vest? Just curious.

I just hopped out of the truck. And went to the docks after I bashed into the dock! LOL! I am joking. They have people watching I guess? ( Dock Supervisor Associates Degree $50,000 plus Benefits?) I am all for vests and whatever. Well not drive cams. Boo! There. I just forgot to put the thing on. We all survived! Although now that it has been brought to my attenuating circumstance. I am going to be watching you all very closely. You better have your gloves and vests on ######!
Seriously though it is no joke. It is what it is. We get run over. Or worse yet backed into and crushed between a trailer and the dock. It does happen drivers. Step lively after you make your pick up or delivery. Keep your head looking around constantly. Watch out around the wheels. You all now owe me $5 for this good advice! Pay me later turds!Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Most of the trucks I drove had the O'l leather wheel covers on them, no need for gloves. The older steering wheel covers we laced on were God sent, don't believe me...??? Spend a day on the back roads full of curves with an old Armstrong steering truck, and wiggle it into a maze in reverse. See a lot of guys wearing fingerless style biker gloves with power steering.
Old school 362 and Hammer166 Thank this. -
That's why you get arthritis.

This thread has been an inspiration for me. I'm going to get high visibility gloves to wear when I drive, then paint a "10" on the back of the left glove and a "2" on the back of the right glove. I'll also put a "Remember to G.O.A.L.?" in custom fluorescent tubing on the driver's side mirror.
I feel safer just thinking about it.hellpatrol, OLDSKOOLERnWV, gallegosmike and 1 other person Thank this.
