Window AC 5000btu

    Yeah that compressor start up killed my 2000 watt inverter. I bought a portable air conditioner for my truck Im going to try the 3000 watt to see if it can handle the dreaded compressor

    I wouldn't waste money on a window a/c and a inverter for a truck. $120 plus $300 for an inverter. so $420. your average hotel room costs $55 a night or less. chances are on your truck a/c. most likely to be the pressure switch or clutch. once in a blue moon it the control panel. I had the a/c go out on me once back when i drove. turned out to be a blown breaker. still didn't work. so i turn the bunk a/c on to get it to work in the front of the cab.
