    CO/WY/TX/NM/OK

I'm a driver with 10 years experience mostly OTR and local with the last 2 in ND. The first year I hauled water and since July of last year I've hauled crude for one of the best companies up here. I've never spilled or had an accident. Somehow we were able to hold out on much better rates than most of our competitors until a few weeks ago. The bottom feeders finally got us. We could make 3k/week running hard and legal... Now its looking like 1500 will be a good week with the cut in rates, extra pay and work load. You'd have to be a fool to haul crude up here for that kind of money in the winter. I'm trying to hang on for a few more months as we supposedly have more work lined up but its unlikely that I'll come back after Christmas. So, I'm looking for greener pastures. Anyone know of any reputable places where u can still average 1800/week or more?

A friend of mine seems to be doing much better than that working for MBI out of Nunn Colorado.
2 1/2 to 3 loads in a 12 hr shift. Most all oil comes to Cheyenne from the Greeley area. $300 to $450 avg. Nightly.
    And home every day.
No masking like ND. Mostly pavement driving.

FWIW, I have a friend hauling Oil in OK and his company just cut his pay by 10-15%.

I worked a couple winters in North Dakota hauling production water.
It got down to -50 with the wind chill.
I've also hauled water for Frac operations in Casper Wyoming in the middle winter.
Conversely, I've driven through OK OTR in the winter. LOL.. if I ever had work the oil patch of Oklahoma in the winter it would be like a summer vacation.
