Best load securement ever

I hate having help chaining. I used to give advice or show how I want it done and just ended up hurting feelings. Now I just do it all myself and redirect their attention by sweeping off the deck or cleaning all the screws off the sizzor lifts. If I am responsible for the load it will be my way.

 

On the mainlift pic, it sure looks like to me the binder is against one of those welded stops to keep it from sliding, I don't think there is a problem there.
While we are nitpicking, I don't like how the chain is just hooked into the bottom of the stake pocket. If something does happen and the chain becomes loose, it will come completely unhooked. I'd much rather see it rapped around the pocket and hooked back into itself.

 

Same thing could be said about the binder side too.

 

True. As I said above, it's kind of nitpicking and I've done it before in certain circumstances but I don't like to.

Just going by the attachment point at the end of the chain, it would have been really easy to have attached the chain back to itself, might have taken 2 more seconds than the way it was done.
