Free speech and all, the only places in the USA who are regulated in what flag they fly where are goverment buildings. If I want to fly the Taco Bell flag in my front yard I am allowed to. I wouldn't because I respect the flag and I serve my country to protect your freedoms to do what you want. We may not like it, but the constitution doesn't specify that we like what others do, just that we respect their right to do it.
Products not being made in America anymore, that's a consumer issue. As long as it is cheaper and people will buy it, it will continue. We did it to ourselves. It's not a conspiracy. -
You fly any other countries flag over the American flag in America I personally will cut that flag down just as that man did.. Its one thing to have the right but it is a total disrespect to all men and women who have fallen for them to have freedom and the right to choose. Many have fallen under that flag so it could be raised high for all to be proud of..
You choose to come to America and live, you should respect the people who died to make this a great country to live in.. They who have fallen are represented by the American flag..
You proved my point when I said people who support the peso being allowed in America would not understand the relationship between that and not being able to find American products on the shelve... It has nothing to do with a "consumer issue" but a trend that continues.. Thanks for proving my point....
The only reason why it is cheaper is because our government allows it to be cheaper.. Tack on 350 billion to China's products and they sure would not be cheaper now would they?
Another way you could look at it is American government giving 350 billion to companies right here in America to make the same products... then American product could be just as cheap as China's...
You sure never seen me say that.. Because I can show you almost exactly where it started in time.. matter of fact I have posted it here in the last month on about how trade is uneven and when it started.. -
OK this will be my last post in this threat, which has turned in an economics debate. I love this country and I have spent the last 18 years defending the same flag you obviously love so much. I learned long ago that defending the flag also means I have to defend the constitution and the rights of the people it gaurantees. As much as I hate to see it, burning, defacing or flying the flag under another, upside down or whatever is covered under freedom of speech. I would never do it, and I can't say I wouldn't have a "conversation" with someone if I ever saw it happening in front of me, but I do not get worked up about it when I see it on TV or in the news. If I were to pick which people or ideas in this country I want to defend, then I would be going against everything this country was founded on.

I as well spent time defending that flag and almost lost my ability to walk defending it.. So, that doesn't make you any more special then someone who hasn't..
We have different view obviously.. You may have the right to do as such but I for one will not let my fallen Americans be disrespected.. like that...
You have the right but sure don't mean its right.. One may call this the right to free speech....

By the way that is in New york city...
And after I have thought about it for a few more sec I had to come back and post this...
You may consider the above the right to free speech but I consider it as this person needs a good A@# woopen.....
