I did line haul only for the Hound. But sometimes I was "forced" onto a charter. I.E. the senior guys did not want it!
They were a blast! The tour guides rocked and I was gaureenteed at least $2 a seat per day in tips. 55 seats times $2 is $110 plus hourly charter wages.
Peteseymour reminded me of a charter that went up to Gold Bridge B.C. I dropped the German Tourists off at the lodge and the tour guide gave me directions back to Whistler that would save me over a hour. It turned out to be a friggen logging road that I had to use the granny gear down many mountains! I spent all afternoon going through switch backs. Plus I managed to put a tiny hole in a radiator pipe. I wrapped it with duct tape. I was totally lost and finally popped out onto the pavement around Pemberton if I remember. Where they filmed Rambo 1!
I agree with all the posters here. Getting a P endorsement is different. I do not have the school bus.
No bus drivin forum. So here goes.
