My my,how fast things change for the leased driver.
Reading your post from November, just 3 months ago,
You were putting down a company driver who said he brung home 1250 a week.
Called him a fat slob, said you made that 20 years ago.
Now the stress of slow freight and truck payments are
    Coming to fruition.

    RedRover and SCar72 Thank this.

Apparently you don't understand reading comprehension. I said the only thing that has changed in trucking in the last 20 years is the fat truckers 20 years ago are now severely obese drivers of today.
I use my CDL to fall back on during bad times, not as a career of choice.
Good luck out there driver, you will need it. I'll do my 40hrs a week and be home every night.

So I'm still at dart i avvg b/w 2700 and 3200 a week. I havent had any major issues. From what i can tell as long as you run 85% of the time and are 100% on time they'll feed you loads. See attachment. Other than that if your constantly running home this is not for you.

Says nothing about money in your pocket after expenses. At least I couldnt see any number. Hope you Grossed at least 4-5K and are taking home at least $2,500.

Wow, it looks like another new contractor at Dart left the moment his truck payment kicked in.
I've been leased to Dart since 1994 and have seen them come in the front door, out the back door way too fast.
    Here are the real numbers:
You should be grossing $12 to $13 thousand dollars a month. Some a little lower or higher. As a new contractor, you should easily take home $2,000.00 a month if you don't take too much time off. I usually take home a little more or less than $4,000.00. That is high but, i've been doing this for Dart a long time and i know the tips, tricks and tweaks.
I knew the moment i saw that new contractor's numbers that something wasn't right, sorry to see him go. I used to spend a lot of time on TTR, but i have a new family and they get most of my attention.
If anyone has questions about Dart, i will give you honest, no bs answers without the hype. Only, it could be awhile before getting back to TTR to answer your questions. I see people crunching the numbers and i can tell you that as of 8/1/16 my gross annual earnings are about $67,000.00 and i'm enjoying lots of hometime. With a family and a 2016 KW, i don't expect to be paying income taxes for this year, but we save every reciept and report all sales taxes for the deduction.
And i mentor drivers when possible and can usually handle 2 or 3 at a time. Stop expecting life as a contractor to be easy cause for the first few years, it won't be. It gets easier with experience but you have to last to get it cause if you want success it's going to cost you. Once you're on top, things start getting better.

I cant speak for everyone, but i have accomplished my goal of coming over to dart. I have bought and rebuilt a truck that i own outright. To answer your question tthe money was fine for me, more than i would have made as a company driver.

Congrats on owning your own Truck. Many don't make it that far. I hope your miles are profitable and safe.
