Thanks for the shout out Midwest. I'll respond by posting that new thread regarding sleep facts and tips. Unfortunately not right now. I just got back from four hard charging days of team driving on the midnight to noon shift, and need to flip to early morning tomorrow on a standby basis.
I need to TCB and sleep. -
Smoke a bowl. That always knocks me out!

My girlfriend got me one of those sleep mask eye cover thingys. I initially scoffed at it, but that thingamabob really keeps out the light. I like it for sleeping at odd hours.
The other thing that helps me is to make sure I eat right and exercise a little.MidWest_MacDaddy, Lepton1 and JReding Thank this. -
I know...Good Stuff. Linda, Shame on you for "liking" this.dngrous_dime Thanks this.

The generic non-cold/flu version of Nyquil uses an ingredient called diphyenhydramine. You can buy the exact same thing sold as "allergy relief". Just look for that chemical name. My grocery stores sell the sleep-only version of Nyquil as EZ Sleep.
You can get it as capsules or liquid. Liquid works faster while capsules seem to start slower but last longer for similar dose 25 or 59 mg.
The allergy relief stuff works as well for sleep like the sleep product works for allergy. It might pay to have allergy medicine versus sleep medicine in case of inspection, I don't know the regs on that. If its in the truck keep it in original package.
