Wonder if any Silvertone,(sears) or whatever Montgomery Ward branded their electronice appliances were ever sold?

Computers have changed more in a shorter time period than radio equipment, price and capability being considered.

My first computer came from Montgomery Wards--a Macintosh Performa 450.

It had 4 mb of RAM, 120 mb hard drive and ran System 7. I still have it somewhere and it still works. I think I paid somewhere around $1800 for it in 1991.

Yep, the pinto ssb rig, have two of them on the shelf. nice radios but I don't remember which other brand/model of radio used the same board, thinking Lafayette - because these two had the same problems with the agc curcuits

Well now I have to collect some of these old radios an other electronic doodads so I can play with my old oscilloscope. I bought it off eBay quite a while ago and just got around to ordering some probes for it. Now I can stick my finger in the wall outlet and watch the ventricular fibrillation in real-time.
