Actually, the mass exodus of drivers happened in the first six months after announcing the sale.
While Heartland did all it could to deny this in order to avoid a negative impact on their stock price the truth still remains.
There are very few drivers with Gordon now who were there for over 5 years before the sale.

What a royal mess.
I'm back to the Sunny Delight drop lot for my pickup that was supposed to be ready at noon Saturday. It wasn't and they told me they wouldn't even load the trailer until today (Monday). So I got here and learned that they are rescheduling all the Saturday loads into an already-packed Monday schedule.
"I'll call you when your trailer is ready, driver; we haven't even assigned a trailer yet."
Oh, boy. So it's back onto the street. Some days... -
