There was a place that made a galvanised steel trailer with a lot of bolt on parts, it had dual sliding axles. I don't remember the manufacturer, someone posted a link for it a while back. Someone might remember/find it.

Id like to run them flats but from ive been told 40 feet KP to #5 axle right? center of the hub, a step deck and flat spread axle both are going to have their advantages But that wagon there looks like you could slide the tandems back like a van and bump the dock. The point i think im trying to convey is that trailer not only is 53ft. has slide axles and a full flat deck, you could bump a dock to boot that wagon is Flexability
That is a Fine lookin Pete you have there RankLast edited: Aug 1, 2016

I've decided to replace my 53' step deck with a aluminum 48' flatbed. Too much to think about.

What does florida do? I run a fixed spread 48ft so never researched the axle settings needed on longer than a 48.Last edited: Aug 2, 2016
