No surprise there. They forget who delivered all their stuff.Sure they pay for it but thats not the point.Drivers will stop at nothing to get their stuff delivered on time and no matter how long it takes to unload they won't allow drivers to park on their vacant lot late at night. That's some gratitude.Trucks always park at at the Hobby Lobby here.It depends on the city or state. No matter what this industry does to try and get the public to have some compassion for the drivers it'll never be good enough.

Well when we all get as perfect as you and find customers that never delay us so we can always make it to the truckstop or rest area on time...

You tell me where you can park when you're delayed in say Oakland CA after say 1600...

I'm not perfect but I consider myself a professional and I try my best to live up to that title. That attitude has served me well throughout the years. If you consider being proactive and finding solutions to problems perfection then you're selling yourself short.

It's been years since I've been to Oakland so have no idea, but if it was me being dispatched there I would know the answer to that question. If I see my clock dropping and the customer is still not moving then I use every resource I have at my disposal to find a solution. You are the professional are you not?
If you have to sleep in the mall parking lot then do it at your own risk. Just remember that it is not the mall's responsibility to accommodate you just because you're having a bad day.

You must have asked them for birth control. They don't like that. They would run you off like their own employees.

There was only 2 types of birth control pills that they didn't want to pay for. That type didn't prevent fertilization instead they aborted the fertilized egg. Which they believe is a human. They paid for all other types of birth control. They are under no obligation to even offer health insutance. And if one doesn't like there health insurance or their beliefs a simple solution to the problem is don't work for them. Nobody is forcing them to work there

I do my research before I park and have never had the problem mentioned above, however, I don't like people who act as if there isn't a problem with parking.

Truck stops fill up and for many reefer drivers who have after hours appointments parking can be an issue - you can plan as much as you'd like, but if a shipper keeps you beyond your hours and won't let you stay you have a problem.

Some here have made it sound like anyone who ends up needing a vacant lot or Walmart has done something wrong and I object to that.
