I was driving by and saw that it has been closed down with just a drop yard across the street. Why did they shut it down? That's where I started for a short time and the training academy had a cool group of guys working there. It sucks that they lost their local gig. Maybe they had to go back OTR.

Swift Transportation either bought or is Leasing the yard from Schneider and will be moving in there this month.

Swift will be running their Local and Dedicated Fleets out of there, they will also have a Full Service Shop there in addition to their Full Service yard in Jurupa Valley, CA.

The rumor is Schneider moved its Company Operations out of California because they didn't want to deal with C.A.R.B. anymore.

They will still have bring and take freight from California, but not with any Company Trucks, but mostly by using Contractors, Intermodal or T.O.F.C.

Schneider's Fleet has always been made up of Pre-EGR Glider Trucks and I'm sure C.A.R.B. finally gave them a ultimatum, so they left.

SNI is building a full facility in Phoenix. Yes, their footprint in CA will be greatly reduced.

Actually your comment is more hysterical because it doesn't contribute a thing to this thread except that you're a Troll.

If you're so knowledgeable about what you're talking about then speak up, or shut up.
