Maybe it's not so much throwing in the towel but if things do not improve in a few months I will not be renewing my insurance that's for sure. I'll keep my equipment parked and let it sit until there is money in carhaul again. Glad all my junk is paid for right now that's for sure

Just wondering if people like you got something else to do where you get paid? I hear people moaning about the price drop in this business that i completely agree and it is very low, but what do you do so you can afford just to park your equipment and do not do your job ?

Right now the best option for me is to drive for a friend's company. He's already been paying me to run local here and there on days that I'm not working. This is dry van btw, not cars.

Sometimes its cheaper to let it sit. A relative of mine parked his brand new truck when the '08 crash happened. Everyone thought he was crazy. When their tire and fuel bills started rolling in and they had no money to pay them, they weren't laughing at him anymore.
