Well, after much consideration, i decided to go with a smaller, local company- figure i will start there & get a couple years experience. I chose Kruepke Trucking out of Jackson, wi... the pay was average to other companies & i believe its a good fit for me. They take new students & put them thru 7 weeks of refresher & company training. I interviewed & visited the terminal and was satisfied. Offered one of the 2 positions they had open, beating out 5 others- so i guess i was impressive or they just wanted to add a minority female! Lol either way, im ready to work! I start next monday, aug. 8th! Any last words? Lol tips & suggestions are always appreciated!

Congratulations! Since you'll have a trainer, my only advice would be to listen to them and be a good student.

Yeah good luck and breath! You will be nervous but 7 weeks is a good deal for training.

Be a good listener, learn their policies, and do your job. You'll do just fine.

    tscottme and Puppage Thank this.

Stay focused on being a professional. There will be things that will test you like no other job. Be patient and ready for the unexpected.....this is what seperates the ladies from the school girls.

It's nice to see someone do their homework and land a decent job instead of just accepting some garbage job at at a bottom feeder. Very Cool
