Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

In case Trimac doesn't have any openings in your area, the others are backup plan. They're all good outfits.

Lotsa stuff going on in HOU, especially if you get your X and a TWIC Card. That town is tanker heaven.
I didn't see anything on how much experience you have but there are specialized jobs that make .40/mile look like a joke. And it doesn't take ten years experience to get some of these jobs either.
Hey China, doesn't A&R run out of HOU now? I always thought they would be a great company to haul for. -
Yes, they have a terminal there, but require 6 months experience except for some military vets.
@glenn71 - edit - A&R requires 6 mos. exp. , not 12 mos.Last edited: Aug 2, 2016

I take it the OP hasn't gotten across that finish line yet. That's OK. There are still a lot of things in HOU that pay well.
Service Transport comes to mind. Don't know if they were on your list or not, but a couple people I know like hauling tanks for them. -
So you are out for 5 weeks at a time and you basically pay a grand a month and you never use the apartment...that's a problem too. Then you have cable and utilities i'm sure. I know working for $400 sucks but to me throwing a grand+ out the window every month sucks more. That's just my opinion. Go over to Knight you'll make at least $750 net a week from what i'm seeing people say they make there.

What about south west transport? Never drove for em, but the dispatchers seemed pretty relaxed
-
Okay thanks guys and Chinatown for the suggestions. I will think on my options and make a few calls.
Thank you everyone else for telling me I overpay for my apartment which is clearly not needed..tucker Thanks this. -
I understand your situation. My HOA fee is $145.00 monthly, but I enjoy the security of a gated community.

It costs money to house yer stuff. That's just the way it is. Houston ain't Topeka.
There are tons and tons of driving jobs in TX that pay more than 500 a week. Especially in Houston.
