Yeah, maybe I should do something with the end of the quarter approaching.
Just had to have road service come out a take care of a flat. I got lucky enough to run over a wheel weight of all things. The way it went into the drive tire, it was in repairable. Ended up buying a new recap to get going. At least the service dude was skilled enough to do the swap very timely. (Next weeks deposit after truck expenses: a little over $1900)traveler770 Thanks this. -
That's good to know he got you going quickly that's definitely a nice pay day definitely happy to hear you like it.

$1.13 loaded to pull a reefer and deal with grocery warehouses

Man this industry sucksKersey Thanks this. -
Any amount to deal with grocery warehouses never seems to be enough. But I clearly remember the days of downloading everything onto small wood. So some improvement?

Don't take time off, you will be punished, and they will make you sit and they say their trying to secure freight, childish game players
-
I personally haven't had an issue with time off. I've been in trucking long enough to know you need to be flexible with your days off.
I will admit initially I did sit a lot. But the recruiter warn me about that and once I got through that period things are moving well. -
Are you still with seatgate? How do u like so far?
-
Sorry, I'm not with them anymore. The reason why left them is simply due to boredom. The work Seagate was too easy as most of it was drop and hook. I left them on very good terms and will return if my current gig doesn't work out. I'm giving heavy haul a try which has been a fantastic adventure so far.

I'm thinking about lease the truck but before I wanted to hear from someone who work or worked for seagate. I was thinking driving around 2300 miles a week and have weekends off. Do you think it is possible with seagate?
