They're ok to work with. Some good freight, some bad. Same as most any other large brokerage.
HaroldB Thanks this. -
UPS bought out Coyote Logistics -
Do Coyote pay per mile or load
-
No clue, I run dedicated nowadays
-
Stay clear. they are thieves.
Side note::::: They love to give back freight to customers after they bid it so cheap they would rather give it back than put there "BIG BOY" Pants on and cover it. What a joke.
If they were so "dedicated" and lived up to their BS catch phrase......Work- Hard Play Hard crap....they would lay in the bed they made with bidding cheap freight.TheBigCajun Thanks this. -
I have an update of my own to add to this. I left one of their loads sitting on the dock at a cold storage a few weeks ago and gave it back to them. They fooled around all day trying to book a load on a truck for nothing. I foolishly booked it at my rate with a "work in" at the shipper because it was already late for the pickup. I told them it had to leave by 10 pm in order to be on time for that first drop in NC early the next morning. At 9:45 pm I pulled away from the loading dock empty and left. They still hadn't locked me in after over 3 hours. I got some whining at thw guard shack on my way out about "they were picking the load right then if I wanted to back in again". I told them not a chance, I'm not showing up late at any grocery warehouse and thanks for nothing. I knew better than to book it... mistake on my part.

They're starting to play a lot of games lately -- if you don't have the rate confirmation right away, keep looking for other loads because they're probably trying to undercut you...

Yep, they messed with me today. I've been stuck in Phoenix for almost 24 hours because I can't find a decent load out. Found one from them and called them up. They wanted my lowest bid. I should've known that was a bad sign but told them $2500. That was only $1.80 for me but it was going to a good area with lots of loads. He said OK and told me he's sending the rate con right over. 30 minutes later, I still have nothing. I called him and he said the customer canceled the load (that was BS because he just reposted it) and that he tried calling me like 5 time. Again, that was BS because I had full service there and haven't had a single issue with my phone the whole day. He said he had a local one if I wanted it but I didn't want to deal with him again.TheBigCajun, Mike2633, Oscar the KW and 1 other person Thank this.
