I prefer the signs with bungees on the sides for the front as they fit the bumpers of my trucks the best. A mesh sign with grommets are great for the back. Lepton what kind of truck are you driving and what kind of bumper does it have? Some trucks are easier to sign than others.

Do you have any proof that "oversize load" signs aren't acceptable in Saskatchewan. Becuz I've ran a bunch of loads there and never had a problem...
-
The quick Google search I did said you need "D" or "Wide Load" signs and that "Oversize Load" signs are not allowed.
-
But, the Weight and Dimensions Administration Manual for Saskatchewan does have "Oversize Load" signs listed as legal.
Lostkeys Thanks this. -

What kind of load. I can't imagine 75K in a trailer that's only 53 inches long!
-
That's kinda weird! But yea I've never had any problems.
-
When I ran 60-foot long loads through SK into AB, I was told not to use the long-load banners because our drivers have been hassled by DOT about it. I only ever used the "D" banners because that's what I had and never once was pulled in let alone talked to about it.
Might be an officer specific thing rather than a law thing. *shrugs* -
Well, got my permits for OH and WV, still waiting on PA. I deliver in PA tomorrow and then will stage near the pickup location.
Do the 4 corner flags need to be on sticks? I can probably do that in my '07 Freightliner with duct tape and bungie, but if I don't need the flags sticking out that far I can do a more secure job. The trailer will already be flagged and bannered when I arrive to hook to it.
Next question, the OS load banner on front will cover up the license plate. Is that going to be a problem? -
Speaking from my limited experience in the states, but they generally don't like license plates covered even on the trailer.
