Ohio I have, not so much in Pa. I have my front plate mounted on a pc of 1/8 stainless 10×10 with a 3 inch lip bolted to bumper. It leaves a gap of 1×1/2 inches for my sign to sit in. So you can see plate and sign.

    johndeere4020 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Ohio has messed with you for covering your sign? On my new bumper I mounted my plate on a piece of angle and it sits out from the bumper a little, my sign fits behind it nicely. That might be the same thing your talking about.

Go to post No.10. I can understand not reading the Canadian Hijacking. It is a little disrespectful to not thoroughly read a post that directly answers your question. I live in Ohio so I have dealt with these guys for a lot of years.

Sounds like you're moving oilfield equipment. Used to run oilfield in both Towanda PA and Bloomingdale OH and surrounding. Watch the narrow secondary roads, especially on the OH side, once you're off US-22 the shoulders go away and the lanes tighten right up. On the PA side, practically everything is posted 10 ton weight limit on the state routes.
