I usually use a couple stake pockets in front of the center light as "center" or just eyeball the center of between the truck and trailer axles. The spread does get heavy easy but they are really nice for tight city streets. When they have the last couple of bundles to load on top make sure they don't put them on the end like usual.

Keep an eye on those sealed hubs, they wont leak before they fail. And use a wrench to hold the T fitting when removing the air lines for the tire inflation system. The neck is easy to break.

Make sure you lowball him on the price. Its the lightest duty retneaur you can buy and its 9 years old. If I'm buying an old trailer l want the heaviest duty one I can find for the money. Aluminum trailers get weaker when they get older so keep that in mind if you're planning to hsul heavy coils. Good luck.
