If I'm no longer in business, I'm not wasting my time satisfying some bureaucrat that I had been doing everything right. The business is no longer in business, so to quote a certain presidential candidate, "What difference, at this point, does it make?" Even if they WERE doing everything wrong, they failed and are no longer doing business so there is nothing to correct. Don't you think it would be a BETTER use of that auditor's time and efforts looking at companies STILL doing business?
