Talk to your GTM when you meet him, maybe he can get you an waiver.

 

By the way brush up on your CDL manual, you will have to take all your CDL test (except your driving test) and car license test all over again to get a California license.

 

My suggestion is stay a couple days after your testing, look around Corning, Red Bluff and Redding to see where you want to stay, see whats available. Defiantly by DMV get a California CDL book.

How long do you have to get your license?

 

Yep it was a surprise to me too

 

You have to get it before your orientation, I was able to get mine in one day. They'll punch a hole in your Georgia license and give you a paper license until your Hazmat clears then they will mail you your regular license.

 

Ok just more stress lol but I'm determined. I wonder if all states do this?
