Just got home yesterday, sitting on the couch tired and just decompressing....load pops up... I'm just watching it with mild interest... it's going 1100 miles posted at 35.... I yawn, hope that stuff's around next week I'm thinking....20 min later, it's at 38.... 15 min later it's at 4.... I'm thinking "maybe I can put off what I have to do for another week".... 10 min later it's at 44.... 44....44.... "man, I should move on that", is what I'm thinking....
But, I didn't.
I think I might have screwed up...lol......
Anyway, it feels good to be home.
I shoulda jumped on that load.
Welcome to trucking.
The best loads are always when you're taking time off.... -

The less you want to move, the more they want to pay you to do it. An anomaly I live as well. -

I haven't seen anything like last Tues since....
Makes it easier to relax, instead of sitting there thinking, "man, I really need to call on that load..." lol
Next week when I'm ready to go...... there probably won't be nothin...lol -

Our company charges 8.5%
Only have one driver to dispatch and he's making 3k-4k weekly doing the triangle in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin)
Not sure if that's too much or not. -
