Complaining doesn't mean unhappy, it means situational awareness on my part

Good Morning, I don't post here often but wanted to see if I could get some info on the Charlotte IC Choice Orientation? Hypothetically I may be leasing a '17 Cascadia with Tripac APU, with zero down, 3 year lease. Orientation starts Mondays, correct? How long does it last?
The truck I may be leasing is in Charlotte so I assume I will be picking it up there, sign paperwork, they install the in cab equipment, Qualcom etc, I do the Orientation then take the truck at the end of the week and start running? Is that a rough idea of how it all starts?
Thanks very much for the info. -
It's the circumstances such as the one Sipesh just informed us of that bring people to the point of going elsewhere. When the cons start outweighing the pros, or even in this instance when a con completely prevents a pro from taking place. That's what groups like this are for. It's not just whining and complaining but it's people voicing a problem in order to either notify some that may not know, or see if it's it's a widespread issue or if it's looking like things are being directed at that one person individually and often.TennMan and Home_on_wheels Thank this.

I've only used it once because I had a load fall apart, but it does say right on the screen not to be used to build a tour. I'm assuming you're using it to try to fill in gaps? I think that's what they have the issue with.drvrtech77 Thanks this.

Or they just assumed people would follow the law and be safe?
-
If they thought drivers would follow the law they wouldn't make it a policy they wouldn't do redundant quarterly, annual training about it.
THEY STRICTLY HAVE THE POLICY TO TRY TO LIMIT THEIR LIABILITY EXPOSURE IN THE EVENT OF A LAWSUIT BECAUSE OF A DISTRACTED DRIVING CRASH.
It's not safety or any other BS. If safety was number 1 then why does it take SEM hours to get you help on the side of the road when that's a danger.alpha beta, Opus, AM14 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thank you!!! I've been towed four times so far in my stint here at Schneider. I never waited less than 6 hours for the wrecker to show up. The last two times were 8 and 11 hours. 11 hours! Yet I get messages from safety all the time about drivers being reported by company suck ups for parking on exit or on ramps.alpha beta and TennMan Thank this.

You just got into an automatic right? Wait until you need to get it towed...
AM14 Thanks this. -
something to be considered on tows is if there are available trucks on call waiting relatively close or if the nearest contracted ones are already on a call.
