So Im here in this program BECAUSE of FW, Tennman, and DFO. Its all your fault. F@cker$....
Now...lol heres my input:
1) Load cancellation on an ic should pay as much as SNI charges us for a relay.
2) Properly staff SNI to handle the amount of ICs or cap the program to what staff is available.
3) Have approved partner load boards that we can book from, and still work percentage.
4) If a shipper fails to meet their appt time for a load, we get the option to cancel, or recieve det at 2 hrs
5) No more booking and driving.
Tennman, this can be fixed, heres how. You have a login that is tied to your qualcomm. If the qc shows you moving, it wont let you use the app. Your wife has a seperate log in for her phone not tied into the qualcom. The app .apk could only have one instance on each phone, and login credentials are set up through the website, not on the phone. When you open the app, you enter a pin that is tied to the .apk, not a username and password. This would lock you out from being able to log in as your wife while driving, yet keep the app secure.

You all are just pissed because you can't drive the company car any more n trash it. Sni only cares about one thing and that's itself company Ic dedicated they don't give a rat's ### about anybody but themselves
TennMan, 91B20H8 and freightwipper Thank this. -
Soooo what could stop the driver from using the wife's login info for the laptop he has next to him?TennMan Thanks this.

You're not going to be able to stop people from booking loads while driving. It shouldn't be done & the people doing it know they shouldn't be doing it but they don't care. I guess SNI doesn't think it's a big deal or they would've made the app not work while the vehicle is moving just like Transflo did. FW has a good point above.
TennMan and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
Nope that's not considered texting reading street signs it's distracted driving.

My gripes are at a minimum.
- Stop this ridiculous rule about not taking a trailer home. Buy more trailers, but don't expect me to go drop a trailer somewhere if I am taking a couple days off at home.
- Hold CS accountable for all their insane mistakes. Fire the incompetent ones, hire more as needed, but i am tired of loads constantly being screwed up, and they will always try to hide their mistakes by blaming it on the customer, or dragging things out for weeks, hoping you won't stay on top of demanding pay for their mistakes. I hand deal with people making mistakes, but it's come to a point where these people are regularly costing me money.
- Trucking is a 24/7 operation. Staff a support crew accordingly. I'll be danged if I am going to leave a voicemail for my ICA so they can take care of something the next day when they decide to get around to it. Schneider's support makes me feel like I am leased to a 5 truck carrier. When I call in, no matter the time of day, or day of the week, somebody needs to answer the phone, and they need to answer it quick. I'm calling because I have a problem, and don't need to be sitting on hole "for the next available person" for 30 minutes. 5 minutes is too long. And when I send in a message for non priority concerns, somebody needs to be able to address it, rather than send a message 5 hours later telling me to speak to 1st shift. If you can't handle problems, why are you there?
- Box Planners - Train these people how to properly do their job. When I send in an exception for "no empties", it is pure ignorance for me to wait 30 minutes and get a new box plan that has me picking up a trailer at the customer where I am sitting without a trailer. This is becoming an increasing problem.
I just want to be paid correctly for the freight I haul, and people on the other end to do their jobs in a timely and accurate manner. Otherwise, you are costing me and the company money.Cledus Snow, Home_on_wheels, sicksfeet and 3 others Thank this. -
I get conflicting information about this, not that it really matters to me at this point. I have one, and I am in. I called recruiting a while back, and they told me 2010 or newer, didn't matter about being a glider. I have heard others say they are told different.

You guys have way too big of a list. I used to be a union steward for a Sheriff's Office, and in management. You have to pick 2 or 3 of those items and present that to management. I guarantee you if you bring a huge list in there, they're going to shut you right down. Take baby steps with these concerns, not leaps. Management is more apt to listen if you don't bomb them with an avalanche of complaints.
I'd say the booking while driving is a massive problem. They should tie it to the logs and be done with it. Where's the rule that says wives should be allowed to book? If you're on line 3, then no booking, period. You want to peruse the board? Stop the truck.
The other thing for me is the miles being way off on the board. No way they should ever be 50 miles off. I shouldn't have to verify all the distances for every load on my phone before deciding.TennMan Thanks this. -
It took Schneider a month to fix a "sort button" and we still have to take computer quarterly tests at OCs because Schneider is too cheap/lazy to fix it to where it would work on our computers.
Schneider would rather us ICs sit on hold for 30-45min because they're too cheap to hire more staff.
All the mistakes in load pay and appt times I bet in part is due to those people being overwork and understaffed as well.
Schneider took away referal bonuses because they don't need us, they know what they've got as is has a huge demand for drivers.
Be honest with yourselves, do you really think with that being the case Schneider would spend an extra dime to make things better for us? There's drivers lined up to take our place tomorrow.
Schneider ain't gonna spend the extra money to make things better for us unless they have to, that's why we're still pulling around 10+ year old trailers that are falling apart.Cledus Snow, centralmi, Western flyer and 1 other person Thank this. -
@RootHog I take trailers home every weekend and am home for just a couple days. I always have freight booked for the next week too though before I go home.
drvrtech77 Thanks this.
