So my 630 radio receptions has become bad. So when I open the door the reception comes back strong. The cable seems to be freyed. How hard is it to replace the driverside cable? I only have 1 antenna on the drivers door.

    Thanks

I can only tell you I gave up before starting... The cable runs from the mirror arm through the wire loom between door and cab, to the lower left kick panel, from there ???

If it were my truck I may have spent more time, but its not and I just replaced it with a bird perch antenna and new coax and adapter out the passenger side door.

Mine does that sometimes on random.

Lately I've been having a problem with it resetting when the truck is started.....it'll say the radio ID# and won't be on the channel I left it on....

Are you guys referring to the Custom Autosound USA-630 radio? Is that a good International truck radio?
I have been debating between that and Retrosound. Thanks in advance.
