Also, they DO consider local toward the 'OTR' requirement as long as you crossed state lines. I was working out of Buffalo NY and we had a lot of pickups/deliveries in PA. I was local for 5 years when I applied and got hired here.
Walmart here I come!

You'll do fine on a 6/3.
And if you find that you don't like it, try a different program when realignment comes around.
You're gonna make good money on any program. You'll just make more on some.
So, it's a matter of the greater of the betters!Last edited: Aug 12, 2016

I don't think 6/3 would be bad. At least you get a weekend off once in awhile

Also, he Matt, safety guy preferred floating, but if you double clutch that's fine also. Just don't grind gears

Two things no one has mentioned. Don't do a " two finger spin" of the landing gear handle. Might not fail you, but it's one of the things they preach. Second, on the road, FOLLOWING DISTANCE. If the On Gaurd or Wing Man( which ever is in the truck you test in) ,starts to beep, back off the throttle. If someone pulls in front of you and sets it off , the safety man will see that, no problem . But if it's going off continuously, you're probably going to fail.
slim6596 Thanks this.
