Well I'm certainly not shy about helping others to find a good company to drive for... And if the company gets a good driver out of it, I will be more than glad to take their money... But that doesn't flow as easily as one might think... LOL

 

Nope... I rather like the white noise of the purring engine and the vibrating bed myself.

At home I make the wife hum and shake the bed for me... LOL ... She loves it when I come home for a few days... LOL

Im not on here for a few hours and its all vacation and cpap. I have had one for 5 years now. I love it and helps me alot. I found mine after transfering to a daytime desk job. I went to dr because of always feeling EXHAUSTED, falling asleep on couch almost daily, and wife telling me i woke up gasping.

2 sleep tests with a million wires to diagnose and set up cpap.

Insurance covered all except basic minimum copays for visits. Paid nothing for eauipment.

I wonder how working with regualr dr and dot dr might get it cleared up. Or could try to get regular doc to order test so insirance pays instead of driver.

 

So this weeks lesson for me is always try to get a two hr break in. Never know when tha might be needed.

Finally got out of halls after all kinds of confusion and made my two drops in va, ending up in lynchburg. Sent to yard to bring hp up to allentown pa. Had to split it to make it all work on time.

Got here early. They have no space and refused. Harvey and hp are working on wjat to do next. Apparently more are coming, and hp had already been told there was no room in the inn.

Sadly gonna lose out on the 500 miles from mtntop to wythevile.

 

Good luck ladies and gentlemen of abilene! I wish nothing but the best of fortunes to all of abilenes drivers and mechanics. I am taking the high road and not ranting about some of the "people" at abilene corporate and their lack of general tack or common sense.

Not everyone that applies for a job is wet behind the ears greenhorn! We all bring different types of experience to the table.

Pick up in Longview, Tx for a rush delivery to Goldsboro, NC on Monday.

Rush delivery. (LOL)

Broker load to wrong address. Luckily, BOL had correct address. 4 days for a 1225 mile run. SMH.

This week netted a big phat goose egg. They routed me to my off time scheduled for the 8th on the 5th. Back at it today. Finally broke 3k miles in a week, then they reward me with a week of no miles.

That check is gonna SUCK. Oh, well. Gotta turn and burn next few weeks to recover. Recap running fever.

 

It is long story and this isn't the right forum to discuss what happened. I can say that what is being discussed here does filter back to the higher ups at abilene. It is a public forum, they have right too.......

Thanks for the kind words. I've got two companies interested in me and both have orientations this next weds.
