Honda generator

Its still new to you. A year from now you will probably like,.. meh,.. next week might be better, Too sore right now to fool with this.

When mine was new I was doing it by the book. Going on the 2 yr mark now with mine and I only use the cheap 30 wt lawn mower oil. When the oil looks black and dirty,.. I change it. That might be before or after the 100hr mark. I used to sweat and worry about it. Now not so much.

Do most generators have hour counters?

 

Thanks for that insight Hurst that might make me sleep better ...i just want it to last as long as possible.

 

Well I run Mobil 1 in mine and put a ton of hours on it fast .
It has an hour meter on it and gotta admit ima maintenance geek .
Example : it's 103 degrees at jerrell tx now and technically it's due for an oil change now buutttt I don't feel like getting out and cooking lol

I am anal about maintenance and preventative maintenance on my truck and vehicles at home. But when it comes to yard work or things around the house (The dreaded honey do list),.. I'd rather go hang out with friends or sit inside the air conditioning and irritate my wife

This was about a month after I bought the truck.

It did have a green hood. I've changed and added so much,.. the black hood is just standard "Hurst' issue now. You wont be confused if you ever see me anywhere. I've met a couple guys out on the road,.. "Hey,.. are you Hurst?" Um,.. who wants to know? LOL
