You are missing the point, fuel cards are like Visa or Mastercard, discount depends on provider
natanishe Thanks this. -
Don't they offer different type of benefits? For example when you use Comdata they will file your IFTA taxes for you when you provide them with milage in every state though you GPS. FleetOne has a monthly fee of $6 per month vs EFS charges $1 or $2 per transaction. Comdata and FleetOne offer 7 day credit for $2500 per truck which you pay off every Monday. It's good cause you actually have positive history on your business credit. I am sure there are other benefits that people like.
Any providers you know of who have significant discounts? England logistics offered their discounts, but I think they are about average. -
Go to Nastc.com and call them. You won't get a better discount anywhere. Research them

I had comdata with the last carrier I was with. Got some killer discounts at loves and a number of other places. lowest was .24 off pump price, best was .57 off pump price. It was a straight pass though to the OO without any extra charges.
Company I'm with now offers a comdata card with NO discounts. I applied for and got a fleetone card though OOIDA but the discounts were not that great ( Avg about .09 at pilot/Flying J ) Got contacted by RTS and using their Carrierpro program, Discounts are WAY up there. still get the .09 at pilot/flying J but and number of smaller T/S's are giving way better discounts. seen as much as .52 off pump in LA and most of the time it seems that its running about .15-30 cents off. weekly billing with direct draw. still keep the comdata as a backup but I'm hoping not to have to use it. -
I use comdata. But I prefer to use cash off my savings first before anything. Fueling is the company's problem usually some sort of national account or comdata card.
When Moses put the ark together and beseeched god for a advance, he was issued a EFS stack of blanks to fill in with two sets of numbers matching from a dispatcher who has to issue it to you. Ugh.
