I quit jobs usually to side step to improving my sitaution. In the beginning was to get out of the no power steering.. then air ride. Then air conditioning (Believe it or not...) then I stayed with a good outfit a while getting my first cherry mack that was pretty good for me then in those days in winter ice mountain work. And so on.
Satellite comms was the biggest improvement in trucking. Then the split speed limits and governing took some getting used to. Discarding the old dollar truck ways... that was hard. Almost like a opiate withdrawl sesson of a few months ...
I can go on. But there was quite a bit of quitting and joining out fits back in the day. Usually with a goal in mind and always with a increase in pay per mile. Strangely enough I did not quit because of lumping, I did not know any better for decades. Lumping twice a day, 5 or 6 days/nights a week and driving some more until you dropped? It's all normal like breathing. But not normal because the laws back then did not support such hard working wage earning behavior. -
Have to draw the line somewhere. Otherwise people don't know where it is. Lets face it. Very few individuals have your best interests in mind. You might not like me but you will respect me. No means no. Never cave, they see it as a weakness. Good day.

You, Sir
Have just won the Internet!!! -
You might still be rolling down the hyway...... but what if you have been spared from a horrific fatal? What if you could see what was going to befall you?
It is like a child that wants to play in traffic, they don't understand what lies ahead and thinks that the parent is spoiling their fun.
Say thanks and move on. So many jobs.
As I said, God does not have to guess, but if I may take license for a second......I surmise that you will find a better job than Schneider.......a job that you would not have found had you not been forthright.
Never look back, it is a waist of time. Saps energy from contemplating what is next. -
Broke Rookie walkin lol

Sure, sometimes you might lose something because of being honest. Doesn't make it wrong. I submit THATS why it's so rare a thing.rachi Thanks this.

You can put anything that sounds good on application but the thing is they'll still look at your dac report. You need to quit applying to mega carriers. They all use DAC and have the same policies.Try craigslist in your area and construction companies. You haven't smoked weed in a long time and would pass any drug test but unfortunatly companies could care less about that but braking a policy is a red flag.Even if you told them, your honesty will not get you hired, again companies could care less how honest and sincere you are, it's what is on your dac is all that matters.ramblingman Thanks this.
