Traffic is at a stand still on I-12 East, west bound side is closed due to floods & they are saying as of now the people on I-12 will have to sleep in their cars which is BULL! Some people have been out there since 7am this morning!
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Dang man I feel your frustration. I went through all that evacuation and uncertainty with the forest fires 3 months ago up here. I hope you, your family and friends get through this alright.
Thull Thanks this. -
Sorry this happened to you Thull. Abuse of the rivers and coastal areas caused the problem. Before that damage was done, the drainage was good and little to no erosion of the coastline. Take care, old friend!

We've got a driver who is heading to the house down that way in the am. Says they evacuated his wife and kiss via boat this afternoon.
Thull Thanks this. -
@Thull you are DEFINITELY in my prayers, man. Just wow. God had you HOME for a reason; always see the positive.
@Giuseppe Ventolucci . . . Man, Sep, that sucks. China is right tho. You are a better man than that. I'm not a big fan of country, and I won't post the song here, in this somber arena, but "YA FIND OUT WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE..." I'll say a coupla Hail Mary's for you too, bro.Thull and Giuseppe Ventolucci Thank this. -

A severe flood engulfed parts of southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. At least one person has been killed in the flood, and Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency.
A tanker truck was no match for the powerful current that swept through a Louisiana highway on Friday.
According to WBRZ, the truck was washed into a ditch while attempting to travel down a flooded road. It happened around noon on Highway 10 between Clinton and Greensburg.
The driver fought high waters while he exited the cab.
He climbed on top of the truck where he waited for emergency crews to arrive.
