Today in Florida as I'm driving, I noticed my air conditioning temperature was a little warm. For some reason, it's not as cold as it was anymore. I keep the air on as I'm getting ready to hit the sleeper, I hear the radiator fan kick on and off as it normally would when my air is on but still the air is about 5° or 10° degrees warmer than average.
I checked the lines outside and I'm not sure which is high or low side but one of the lines is super cold and the other 2 from the smaller radiator are pretty hot. I checked the cabin air filter to check for junk and found nothing.
Can anyone offer me advice on what to troubleshoot next? A friend that drives told me to get some 134a from a truck stop and refill the freon, I'm not sure if that is going to help or not.
I'd appreciate anyone's experienced advice or knowledge and will attempt to answer any and all questions to help remedy this.
As of now the temperature in my sleeper is blowing out nicely and feels much colder than the air up front. Does this make any sense?
The one line that is super cold outside in the engine bay coming from the compressor is super cold and has a little moisture dripping from it where the other line seems warmer. Please help!

Without having a set of pressure gauges hooked up to it looks like you may need a bit of freon added till you start running heat again next mo.

Its normal for 1 line to be hot and the other to be cold. One thing I would check is to make sure the water valve or blend door is operating correctly. I would also get a gauge set on there as well. Adding refrigrant if there's a leak is only a band aid solution. If its low on charge, have the refrigerant recovered and have the system pressure/vacuum tested.

Alright, I'm not sure what the water valve is, I do know I closed a valve by a radiator tube.
Remember what boggles me is that the sleeper berth is super cold, it's inside the cab that its warmer than normal.Attached Files:

I checked the blower, the blender door, evaporator and they all appear fine. I don't have guages. I did buy a 134a kit from Pilot and wanted to refill the lines but not sure how to do it.

That looks like the correct valve to turn off heater, if you buy a refill can of freon that has a gauge built in the line an put maybe half of it in your truck then see if it is colder in ft. vents and tell what gauge is reading after that, it goes into the line that is cold and each line has a different size cap so it can only go on one way

There is no Guage on this refill can. The instructions say to fill until it's empty. How does the sleeper berth get the cold air and not the cab?

If it has the hand arm you pull on to put freon in you can feel it when half is in system and stop putting

Arm handle? It's this simple hose that you just press down on.

Be careful to not overfill, & without gauges you're not gonna know.
