I am in the process of relocating to the King of Prussia area right off of 202. I have talked to several companies but want some updated driver input if possible? Cost of living is much higher than FL so I am looking to gross in the $1300+ to Net above $1000-1100 if possible. Is this being realistic? A big plus is if I can take the truck home as right now the wife has our only car for her to get to school but it's not a deal breaker.

Venezia is offering home daily bulk tanker (cement/flyash). According to their recruiter they no longer hold out two weeks on pay and "you are paid for the miles you run". ( I asked if its HHG or practical and that was her answer)

A&R pays by the load and is semi local, some 6 day work weeks are required. It would be nice to get two loads a day in buuuut this is the Northeast so lol I gotta be realistic.

Highway Transport is regional and they seem great but downside they pay every 2 weeks (taxes hurt)

Superior is .51 LD and .41 MT Regional. but it's 35 miles away across the Barry...and can't take the truck home.

MC Tank lines, Quality Carriers, Bulkmatic I am all waiting to hear back from after submitting applications.

Any driver input is greatly appreciated! Or if there is any other outfits I could check out. I have Hazmat/Tanker and am willing to get TWIC if needed. Only thing I am not open to doing is local gas hauling. Thanks!

have you looked into linehaul with one of the many LTL outfits? i doubt any of those tank companies will come close to $1300+ a week.

    jdiesel3406 Thanks this.

I have. Pyle has an overnight line haul ad out of West Chester. I filled out an app with Ward on the truck load side. I haven't ruled any freight companies out but I've worked docks and done ltl down here and was just wanting to learn something else.

I would skip MC Tank. I had a buddy of mine who quit a year ago and went O/O, because he was out 2 weeks at a time and only made $800 a week. Venezia I heard you can make about $50-60k a year. Don't know much about Quality other than they use to be O/O's. Here's some other jobs around your area.....

These are within 20-45 minutes of KOP....

Con Way/XPO in Glenn Mills and Malvern
    R+L in Hatfield
    Estes in Norristown
Fed Ex Freight in Chester Springs
    Volpe in Phoenixville
    Penske Logistics in Glenn Mills
Dean Foods/Lehigh Valley Farms in Lansdale (delivering milk, can make over 80k, has tanker jobs as well)
HP Hood/Penn Maid in NE Philly (also delivering milk)
    Clemen Foods/Hatfield Meats in Hatfield
ACME in Denver Pa (may be a tad over 45 minutes, can make 80-100k)
Bimbo Bakeries in Brenigsville (also may be a tad over 45 minutes, can make over 80K)
    Nestle in Brenigsville
    Sysco in South Philly
    Pepsi in NE Philly
Coca Cola in Downingtown and Philly/Juniata
Mail Carriers of America/MCA in Philly

These jobs are over 45 minute commute, up to an hour....

I work for Superior in Georgia. I've been to the Pedricktown terminal often. Great company! They pay you for everything. I easily gross over 1300 a week. My best week has been 2100 gross.
