I am in the process of relocating to the King of Prussia area right off of 202. I have talked to several companies but want some updated driver input if possible? Cost of living is much higher than FL so I am looking to gross in the $1300+ to Net above $1000-1100 if possible. Is this being realistic? A big plus is if I can take the truck home as right now the wife has our only car for her to get to school but it's not a deal breaker.
Venezia is offering home daily bulk tanker (cement/flyash). According to their recruiter they no longer hold out two weeks on pay and "you are paid for the miles you run". ( I asked if its HHG or practical and that was her answer)
A&R pays by the load and is semi local, some 6 day work weeks are required. It would be nice to get two loads a day in buuuut this is the Northeast so lol I gotta be realistic.
Highway Transport is regional and they seem great but downside they pay every 2 weeks (taxes hurt)
Superior is .51 LD and .41 MT Regional. but it's 35 miles away across the Barry...and can't take the truck home.
MC Tank lines, Quality Carriers, Bulkmatic I am all waiting to hear back from after submitting applications.
Any driver input is greatly appreciated! Or if there is any other outfits I could check out. I have Hazmat/Tanker and am willing to get TWIC if needed. Only thing I am not open to doing is local gas hauling. Thanks!
Philly area tanker outfits. Venezia, A&R, Highway, etc.
