Kenton, OH. Leaving for Baltimore in an hour or so. I haven't been anywhere south of MD in well over 2 months and I think I'm starting to crack.

 

Trailer tire blowout, I limp it to the Loves to try and save Schneider a road call bill.

There's no parking except in the tire change area for the loves.

I call in and I tell the person who answers all the info.

I'm then told that person has to pass the info onto a tech who will then make the decision about getting the tire fixed. He then informs me that it's approximately an Hour wait for the Tech to look at the breakdown order.

I tell the person there's no parking here and if I need to wait an hour and the shop makes me move I'm running to the next rest area and they can send out a road service truck.

He says well there's nothing he can do but pass it onto the tech but he believes they would have it fixed here.

So I wait because SNI thinks it is better to have 2 people to do the job 1 could do in the SEM dept and only half staff the rest of the company.

Please oh please let me hit 6 numbers.

Never again will I limp to a truck stop I will stop at the first place that has a restroom and they can come to me.

Accident in the teens on 70 backed up things. which meant most TS were full with guys diving in. Gonna be a whole bunch of trucks being forced to move out of the EB Somerset Plaza when the State Police rolls through late. Which they will.
