    Correct. So it's a little more complicated than just measuring and dividing in half. Later tonight when i get back home I'll dig out my notebook from that year and see if i saved how i did the math

    The thing is, you HAVE TO know your own truck/trailer setup like the back of your hand. You can ask and get general information, but if you don't know your particular dimensions and weights then your in trouble from the word go. If you know somebody that works at a quarry, a lot of quarries have an axle scale off to the side somewhere so if a truck wants he can check before ho drives onto the bridge scale at the scale house. Take a day when the isn't too busy and play around on the axle scale, move the 5th wheel, record weights, dimensions and settings. You have to know your truck.
