35 miles. 40-45 minutes. A couple of our guys live much further. They rent rooms nearby and go home on weekends.
Last place I worked was a 5 minute walk from home. That was nice. I could fall out of bed and into the truck.Mike2633 and skinnytrucker Thank this. -
Marathon commute for me, 26.2 miles one way. I start at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, so the ride to work takes me about 35 minutes. Coming home is less than a half hour.

I drive 7 miles one way, 14 miles round trip, to my place of employment, 5 to 6 days a week, total of 70 miles to 84 miles a week.

I'm in a western burb of detroit, so it takes me about 20 minutes to get into the kill zone, then depending on how many carjackings I have to stave off another 5 to 10 more.road_runner, Mike2633 and skinnytrucker Thank this. -
4.1 miles. 10 minutes. 7 if I hit the lights right.

This is the only job I've ever had that was more than a five minute commute. Thirty miles or so, takes me thirty minutes or so at 1 am, including a stop for a beverage. The ride home can be from 30-45 minutes.
Not daily, though. Twice a week.Mike2633 Thanks this.
