Help Truck Makes Scraping Noise and Grinding Noise

In my Volvo, it almost sound like the transmission....
I don't remember the cause, or how I found the problem even...
But I do remember buying a metal rod and hacksaw from lowes. The bar that was in the rubber housing was too short. I cut the new rod a few inches longer and voila. Problem solved.

I think it had something to do with the driver I had at that time trying to fix something.

 

the clutch bearing is low on grease and it does make that noise .... I had same issue and I resolved it by adding manufacturing recommended grease , any other grease melted fast due to high heat ....
