106000 miles on the truck. 2 weeks ago to engine light came on. whet to Freightliner in Indianapolis they replaced the doser valve, three days later engine light came back on went to Cincinnati Freightliner and they replaced the doser valve and block. That was 5 days ago. today engine lights came on. Same code as before. Obviously these clowns can't fix this truck. I'm sure when I go back to Freightliner in Cincinnati they will replace the doser valve again.

Anybody else having problems like this with their 2016 Cascadia?

Can you post the specific fault code?

It might just be getting clogged but most times it unclogs itself and the light and fault goes away

I don't know who you're shaking your head at but I've had my truck for 5 years and this is coming from a freightliner technician and from personal experience...the valve can clog itself with def particles and then unclog on its own which will cause the light come on..Nobody said ignore it. Smh t

Exactly..I forgot what its called but you can put something on the doser valve to prevent that from happening.. Think it's like a bypass or something

But what I used to do is when the light would come on ID top off the def tank then take the fairing off and squeeze the def lines in case it was any hard clunks ... Just some advice

That was my point!!! What code are you getting?? That was asked before. Yes, most likely something other than the doser injector. With the code you can find the troubleshooting guide and possibly track down the problem. I gave up on steelerships awhile back. I learned about the mechanics and now fix and diagnose my own problems.

If you are a company truck, the steelerships will milk all the money they can out of the companies for as long as they allow them to.
