I fill mine up and then go back and fill the cans again. So I do mine every 2 - 3 days.

I just walk to a gas pump daily and smile all the way back knowing I'm not running a 525 hp air conditioner or block heater .

Very true.
I walk buy all these trucks idling,.. and even as conceited as this sounds,.. but even the trucks with APU's burping and putt putting like old 1970's lawn tractors kinda bug me with their noise. I know they can make them quieter.
Its kind of funny,.. but a truck with a steady idle next to me does not bother me at all. Get a Reefer or APU,.. especially if they are on start/stop.. I will find another spot.

When I did reefer which has been most of my career that thing went to continuos when I parked for the night.

LOL
I thought I was the only one who did that.
I got in trouble once. Made a delivery to Meijer that was rejected due to temp. I had it set correctly and according to my gun it was fine.
Had to take it to a Thermo King service dealer and they pulled the log. Carrier asked me why I had it set to continuous during my breaks,.. doh.

I am somewhat fortunate. I have two 2 gallon containers in my side box. When I leave the house after the weekend, my generator is full and so are the two containers. That lasts me for an entire week out running the Yamaha and AC for 10 hr stretches each night. I have a 30 gallon drum of gas in my oil shed and just fill everything back up when I get home.

Where do all you guys keep your generator ? Where is it mounted is what i am asking I guess.

Mine has it's own nice frame rail box to ride and operate in. I remove the side and back panel and operate the generator right in the box. Winter, summer, doesn't matter. Safe, Secure from weather.
Terry270 Thanks this. -
Mounted mine on top of my battery box cover on the frame rails , gotta remove it to service my batteries but all the fuel it saves is well worth it.
