Cummins is just as bad..they have serious trouble with soot build up clogging the egr system.
All these newer engines are garbage..too much pollution plumbing and computerized BS.
Gliders are the best bet until the new emissions come down the pike.
And before anyone says it...I KNOW SNI isn't taking on anymore gliders.

Cummins is putting out a new engine right now call the X12 and X-15 Motors... Those are replacing the ISX

Those are the 2017 engines but will still be coupled with aftertreatment which sucks.

I think the fuel pump is working harder to send fuel to the engine which in turn is working harder to power the alternator which is also working harder to supply power to the batteries which of course are working harder to supply power to all those chicken lights...

Well the problem that Cummins has been having is they have been throwing after treatment additions on there isx engines instead of rebuilding a whole new motor which they are doing now with the new engines... but still yes this environmental crap is garbageDogals right foot Thanks this.

That's true..maybe they'll get it right.
I've read a bit about it so lets hope at least one engine maker can get it right.
