I did wonder why he had to finance the system if the truck had made him so much money. Typical trucker stuff that makes ya wonder.

I paid a little more for my set up and paid in full.(that's why you save for those rainy days). But it is a bigger filter. The individuals I know who have run the aftermarket DPF on detroits, some have had turbo issues and some have not. Usually it's the ones that have drivers in the trucks that have issues. That's why I mentioned in earlier posts to run the correct gauges and keep and eye on them constantly, specially when the engine is working hard.

Yes sir. I totally get it. Dont you have a yellow motor in that Pete? Thats what i seem to recall from postings of yours somewhere. Your the only one that i have ever heard of with the dpf on a Cat.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
Yes its a yellow motor and I know lots of them with DPF's in them here in Cali with no issues.

Like Diesel Dave, I have one on my 95 Pete with the same engine as his,,other than having to service it twice a year,I have had no issues with mine or my turbo,,,in fact my turbo is over 7 years old and I put the filter on Jan 2014
