Well, I live in a lousy job market which is why I'm considering driving jobs again. I suppose the plus side to my location is that the cost of living here is low.

They also want a copy of my passport so I might do some Canada or possible pick Prevost city buses.

I did this for a while. Remember lying under a brand new stepvan in Ohio reattaching the clutch linkage while delivering it to Hyannis on a July 4 weekend long ago. The accessory belt broke on the last bridge in holiday traffic, but it was a 6.2 so kept running until I made the dealership. Hitched home to pocket the bus ticket money.

They used to leave the keys in the tailpipe. It was like Mission Impossible, come into the yard in the evening after I got a call, find the right one, grab the keys, and there would be a packet with paperwork, directions, and cash on the front seat. What was left of the latter after expenses was mine.

Hope your arrangement is more profitable, but I did have some adventures.

I have a job application accepted by Panther Expediting so that might be a Plan B. Hoping I don't need to do that though.
At the very least, I want to get some experience with this and maybe after driving a variety of trucks or buses I'll be in a better position to get work elsewhere if I need to.

I did a trip drive Class B Nestle Pizza Trucks (Tombstone / Digiorno). The idea of the job is interesting, but it's been going way to slow. I'm moving on to other things.

Sounds like an interesting gig. Think of all the mile high club opportunity's that will present themselves......

That sounds like a fun gig. Would you always be going to the same destinations, or will they change? Could be pretty fun to just deliver new rides on someone else's dime.
