Was at a Walmart from HE LL in Robert, LA now sitting and waiting for a door at ASSociated Wholesale Grocers in Pearl River, LA.
The people at the Walmart in Robert are freaking arrogant and pricks. They make you sign this form that states $50 required on all loads payable by Check/Cash/Charge, no where does it say the check cann't be a business check. So the buzzer goes off and I walk in with a business check filled out and everything and slide it through the window. They lady looks at me and goes, "what the hell is this?". I say it's a business check, she responds in a condesending tone, "we don't accept personal checks". I point to the paper we had to fill out that only says, "CHECK/CASH/CHARGE, no where on there does it specify what type of check it can or cannot be.
I was frustrated and left to go back to the truck to get a comcheck, well I hit the door on the way out to hard according to them, so when I came back in 45 minutes later with a comcheck, the manager approaches the window and askes me in a "I am holyer than now" attitude and a smug look on his face, "How are you today?". I just stared back at him and he asked me again in the same tone of voice and attitude. I finally responded with a, "I am frustrated and don't feel like talking. Can I have my bills?".
The manager then asks me, "Why did you slam the door on your way out of here?" I started to respond and he cuts me off and says, "no you said you don't want to talk so you don't get to respond. You have been banned from this walmart and all other walmarts." All I did was just stare at him, I didn't have anything to say.
So If I am lucky, I might be banned from all Walmarts across the country because I opend the door to hard
Chucktshoes and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
You can possibly pull flowers from Miami to Pierson, but you won't take them out of Pierson. They are super time sensitive and are mostly driver unload and so they are team runs.darthanubis Thanks this.

Absolutely HAVE to get you one of the traditional lobster rolls up here, if you like seafood at all.
They are something special, no doubt.
Treating my student to one here at the Augusta Red Barn down from our 90.
Love it up here while weather is good. Fall is spectacular when colors kick in.
My guess is we will either be heading up your way, or Ben & Jerry's in VT.

Lewiston at Wally DC.
Going to let student run another local Wally route around MA for ####s & giggles.
He really wanted to run another local out of here. Ask, & ye shall receive. Easy enough to arrange.
He likes these runs & may be interested in dedicated here some time later in the future, if/when he decides to slow up from OTR. Figured let him run it while we were close by. Not often up around here.
I'll just kick back & let him do his thing, while I catch a reset. I'll do the hard part of bringing the empty back the rest of the way, if his clock runs out. Man......the things I have to put up with! The stress, the strain! LOL

Sprimo, uggg. Had a trailer I picked up that had a bad tire. Went through inbound, got it replaced and was told good to go. Went right to outbound and was told nope, trailer is pass due for pm, drop it in the yard. That was 3 hours ago and it's a loaded trailer. So much for an easy drop and hook load, but at least I know the trailer will be in good shape fir the 500 mile run to the 90.

Well, a follow up to this. It looks like the manager at that walmart did email prime. My fm sent me a copy of the email so I could respond. The manager there tried to claim I was a safety risk with how unprofessional I acted, and I was acting like a child when he approached me. I guess he didn't think I was going to be given a chance to defend myself and share my side of the story.
I'm looking forward to the response I get after they see my 2 page email about there unprofessionalism. Depending on how they respond I might escalate this and file a harassment and discrimination claim against the guy for false accusations.BoostedTeg, FullMetalJacket, wolf71 and 1 other person Thank this. -
